BB-8 stole all our hearts when he rolled his way through The Force Awakens. He’s also got pretty killer taste in music, if the official Star Wars BB-8 playlist (yes, really) is any indication.
Full disclosure: I’ve been waiting to pull out this playlist since we first started featuring playlists. This playlist—which, again, comes from the official Star Wars Spotify account—is hilarious. Packed with everything from Ridin’ by Chamillionaire to Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf down to the perfectly accurate SexyBack by Justin Timberlake. My new headcanon: this is what’s playing in BB-8’s head the entire movie.
If this playlist isn’t your style, the official Star Wars Spotify profile has playlists for a ton of other characters. Including Obi-Wan Kenobi (mostly oldies), Darth Maul (100% metal), and Anakin Skywalker (angst up to 11). Someone at Lucasfilm’s marketing department deserves a raise.
