The internet is pretty dang excited about Nintendo Switch

With a little over 12 hours of notice, Nintendo dropped a preview of its next console, Nintendo Switch.

As soon as the video went live, the internet did what it does best: react on Twitter — and most of it was positive.

Super Smash Bros. Melee professional Wizzrobe chimed in saying the Switch is a better version of Nintendo’s last console, the Wii U, which had a similar controller with a screen but way less options and way less portable.

The trailer also showed off plenty of gameplay (although it wasn’t always in focus or big enough to see a lot of details). People were excited.

Now that Apple has ditched the headphone, it’s important to note that the Nintendo Switch has decided to keep the 3.5mm audio jack.

Of course, not everyone is in love with the new console — some Twitter users brought up their concerns including the Switch’s battery life and odd controller options.

Others weren’t keen on Nintendo’s depiction of its audience.

One person somehow already managed to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch. Cool!
