Computer hackers have a long history of being shown on TV and in movies completely incorrectly, but if any show’s come close to accuracy, it’s Mr. Robot. So, let’s take a peak inside Elliott Alderson’s backpack.
According to some snoopers on Reddit, the backpack on the show is (most likely) a 3V Velox II. Alongside a copious amount of drugs, going off Wired and Quora, here’s what tends to be inside:
- iPhone 6 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy S5
- Nexus 5 (with NetHunter installed)
- Laptop with Kali Linux installed (as well as: Metasploit, Social-Engineer Toolkit, FlexiSPY, and DeepSound)
- Multiblue USB Bluetooth dongle
- Various USB drives
- Credit card-sized lock pick set
- USB Rubber Ducky
- RFID Thief
- Raspberry Pi
- RSA SecurID
