The solder fume extractor is a bit of a DIY classic, so it’s no surprise that Adafruit’s put together an updated guide that uses some modern components alongside a cleverly designed 3D printed case.
The core of this project uses a USB charger, Lithium Polymer battery, and of course, a 3D printed case (which is easy enough to have someone print for you). It’s a pretty useful little project that’ll help ensure you’re not breathing in all those fumes while you’re soldering.
